Elmar Frey, Jazz Drummer, Switzerland
Elmar Frey (*1964) appeared on the jazz scene in the beginning of the nineties. Since
then, he has been working regularly in all important Swiss jazz clubs. Besides his own
projects (Elmar Frey Sextett and Organ-x) he currently is playing as a sideman in the
bands of (in alphabetical order):
Jochen Baldes, Roberto Bossard, Laura Cesar, Alessandro d'Episcopo, Sue Mathys,
Danilo Moccia, Christian Münchinger, Daniel Schenker, Stefan Schlegel,
Edgar Schmid, Regula Schneider, Sorryitsjazz, Stefan Stahel, Denise Steinegger,
Zurich Jazz Orchestra (substitute).
